I was at school trying to finish up a test at school as quickly as I could (I'm sure I did fine) and rushed home to watch Lost. (I know, sad) and what do I find?! A BLANK Screen on the tv! Channel 9, San Antonio's ABC affiliate was off-air and I missed Lost and then it finally appeared 10 minutes before the show ended. Locke was talking with Richard...well, blah, blah, blah I'm going to have to buy it on iTunes...*sigh*

NEW YORK (AP) — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin launched a political action committee Tuesday to help support candidates for federal and state office. The committee, SarahPac, is dedicated to supporting "fresh ideas and candidates who share our vision for reform and innovation," according to its Web site. Palin catapulted to fame last year as Republican presidential candidate John McCain's running mate and is widely believed to be eyeing a presidential bid in 2012. Aides said the PAC will help serve as a vehicle for her political activities going forward. According to the Web site, SarahPac welcomes supporters of any political persuasion and will contribute to candidates of any party who share her ideas and goals. But Palin makes special note of the Republican Party on the site, saying it is at "the threshold of an historic renaissance" that should focus on health care, education and government reform. Aides said Palin will limit her political activity until the Alaska legislative session ends in April. But she planned to travel to Washington on Saturday to attend the Alfalfa Club dinner, an elite gathering of the capital's political and media establishment. Palin was also expected to address the Conservative Political Action Committee meeting in Washington in February.

Meryl Streep was in a celebratory mood Sunday night following her Best Actress SAG award win, and Alec Baldwin was smart enough to capitalize on it.The actor, a winner for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, interrupted Streep’s giddy dance-athon to ask her to appear on “30 Rock” — and it didn’t take much for the star to agree. “Meryl was delighted with the idea of appearing on the show,” a well-placed insider tells us. “She said yes immediately.”
